
The Trustees meet the second Wednesday of each month in the township office (located in Roselawn) at 7:30 PM unless noted differently. There are three Trustees and a Fiscal Officer that oversees the entire township. In the summer/mowing season (April 1st - November 1st), part-time employees are hired/rehired.

Pennsylvania Route 28 passes through Harrison Township, connecting Kittanning to the northeast and Pittsburgh to the southwest.

The population was 10,169 at the 2020 census. The township has two full-time employees a Sexton (Nicholas Vance ) and a Road Supervisor (George Prater). Harrison Township is a township in Allegheny County in the U.S. Harrison Township is in Gloucester County and is one of the best places to live. The township also has three major cemeteries in it, Roselawn, Lower Lewisburg (E.U.B.), & West Baltimore (Verona), with Roselawn being the biggest which holds over 4,890 graves. Harrison Township is a suburb of Philadelphia with a population of 13,630.

There are three villages in the township Lewisburg, Verona, & West Sonora, with Lewisburg being the largest. The 2000 census found 4,601 people live in the township. It is bounded on the north and east by Dark and Montgomery counties, while to the south and west lie the sister townships of Twin and Monroe. Harrison Township founded in 1815 is situated in the northeastern corner of the county and is known as township seven of range three.
